If you mean you had identified the leak, repaired it, and same spot is leaking again two years later, then I would suspect the spot and the repair. Did you remove the tile, repair the roofing, then reinstall the tile? I did not know that you can tile over the membrane which usually goes over a wood structure. Any wood structure outside is not stable enough for tile. Maybe the grout or thinset is abrading the membrane.

1 can place tile over membrane but not directly,,, whoever did this neither knew a proper method NOR realized it would fail,,, certainly hope it weren't vous :no: hate to face my bride, nagzilla, & confess it were me whodunnit :furious:

Yes you can do it but we have to have more information.

Support structure, deck type tile type, type of drainage etc. I am an expert in this type of design and can help but need more info.

Also, what exact type of material is your existing membrane?
