I'm having vinyl siding put on my house and would like to remove the outside lights. Can anyone tell me what to do to the wires (clamp? ...) to make them neutral (other than shutting the circuit) while the work is being done?

Thank you.

Shut of the breaker to the Outside Lights!

And do not work with an aluminum, ladder, or allow anyone else to do so! Put electrical "nuts" on the bare wires, do not twist wires together that were not already together, keep each wire separated and nutted. Tape over the breaker in the off position and note that it is shut off. When the siding is up return to normal.:) bill
