outlet problem

installed a new leviton triplex outlet on one side of my kitchen(works great).installed one on other side which didn't work.i re-installed old outlet
and now it doesn't work either

1.You might have tripped the GFCI recep.

Possibly by using a tester hot to ground????

2. You might have a bad connection in the second one you installed (it may feed the first one)
