I want to install a couple of plastic outlet boxes in exsisting drywalled walls, how do I fasten them?

Plastic old work boxes has wings that flip out behind the drywall. There is a nicer style that secures to the studs. Google smartbox.

Here is a picture of the box. Would you also put screws in the holes through the drywall?

Screws do not hold in drywall. The flip out wings should be enough.

So if my hole is a little bigger than the box or tilted then the box will be too?

The hole can be straightened, but the tabs must has something to grab so it doesn't fall into the wall.

The flange keeps the box from falling into the wall, the wings keep it from falling out
