I have an outdoor wall outlet that has not worked since I moved into my house which is 3 years old. I know that it is connected to a gfi plug in the bathroom. I used a 3 light tester in the plug and all three lights come on. The tester does not show a reason for all three lights coming on. I used another tester to check the hot and neutral lines, and both have juice. Is this correct. I'm not sure , but I want to say that something is wired wrong at the gfi plug in the bathroom. Am I right?

I think you will have to be a little more adventuresome and pull that receptacle out and see how it is connected.
You may have to do that same at the GFI and any other receptacle that is part of the circuit.
Are you familiar with Line and Load connections on a GFCI?
