We have a large deck off of the back of our kitchen that has very very poor lighting and is virtually unusable at night. I have attached a layout of the deck with the yellow patches being the only lights and the circle being an air conditioning unit. I need some suggestions on what I can do to without necessarily hiring an electrician to come out and wire the deck for better lighting. We have one outdoor outlet right now that is usable. Any suggestions would be extremely helpful.

The deck is not covered. But we are getting an awning/tent-style thing for for the area just to the left of the AC unit. The outlet is directly across from the left light, on the part of the wall that comes out into the deck. I hope that is descriptive enough.

Conceptually, you would tap into the receptacle (or some other accessible source) run EMT (or some other suitable conduit, like Liquidtight) under the deck, pull THHW wire through it, run it up to where the lights are needed and install the lights. You would also need to route wire for a switch at each door, preferably inside the house. While certainly feasible, it would present a challenge for an inexperienced person. I recommend you pull a permit for the work, as not doing so can invalidate your home owner's insurance. Good luck!
