Just wanted to encourage all you folks to take a look at the new "how-to guides" section here on DIY chatroom. I'd like to challenge and encourage those of you that excel at a certain DIY-related task to document that task with some pictures and detailed instructions and to post a how-to guide that others can benefit from.

Ideas:
-how to build a fence
-how to install PVC pipe
-how to do PEX fittings
-how to do compression fittings
-how to fur down a basement ceiling for rock
-how to install a grid-type ceiling
-how to build a stacked block retaining wall
-how to swap an old thermostat for a new one

the list goes on...:thumbsup:
