:vs_worry: We've Removed a Stove Top / Counter Top Incert.. The idea is to fill in the hole if you will with a piece of 1 1/2" Bambo Counter Top.. Without Removing / Undoing the Counter Top we want to cut straight back from the Outside edge to the Wall.. The last couple inches , would an Oscillating Saw do the job without cutting into the Wall ??:glasses:

I agree....the key is using the right blade and being careful.

:surprise: That's my Canundrum, to do this without leaving a mark on the wall.. Have made some Ambedextrus Cuts in the past with the Sawzall..lol...:biggrin2:

I have a Fein Tool. It will leave a very nice cut if you have a steady hand and know how to use the tool. Practice on some scrap first if you can. You could also put a piece of thin sheet metal like coil stock flat up against the wall where you are going to finish your cut. That way if you slip and touch the wall, it won't hurt anything. Get a good blade. I like Imperial brand with the titanium edge. They are made in the US and are better than the Fein blades. They make blades to fit all the oscillating tools.

:vs_karate::vs_cool: Well job is complete , unscrewed Counter Top from Cupboard Frame and raised it an inch to give me some cutting clearance...lol.. Used a Circular Saw and Chop Saw , the later successfully without nicking the Back Splash which was my main concern.. Used a piece of Bambo from another job.. Was told a Circular Saw wouldn't cut but it was like soft butter on bread..lol..

If I had the Techno Where With All to Post a Picture of the Finished Job I'd gladly do so.. :glasses:
