i needed to have my window casements easily removable for painting.
i believe this fits the bill!
only two screws show over the entire unit.
triple screw mounted on all four corners.
i've always hated seeing paint on casements/baseboards, so all of mine will be moveable. the pics show the unit in tight, and pulled out a couple of inches and rescrewed to keep it secure while painting. the screw can be seen in the picture about an inch from the window in the middle.

oops, i guess it'd be nice if i showed the whole thing, huh?
also, i guess i should mention these started as roughcut 14' 1"x12"s and i cut, sized and planed, etc. the whole mess from scratch.

NICE! good idea. What kind of joinery did you use? Glue/finish nails, biscuits?

I have an entry door to finsish out. I think I am gonna give this a go.

What Have I Done: i used wood glue along the side pieces and clamped. if i had a biscuit joiner though, i'd use it there.
the top and bottom trim is PL'd (construction adhesive) to the sill and top plates.
these are then screwed to the sides, (predrilled, countersunk, 3 screws on each corner)
