Looking for some ideas on the exterior brick on our house. Its an older house and the bricks look kinda dull. From what i've been reading painting them isn't the best way to go,I found this dyebrick.com that looks like it might keep the brick look and give it a new life.
Has anyone ever tried it,maybe a little feedback on it?

Picture from when we got our roof done, but maybe you can see the brick work we are working with.

This will probably be the worst idea you've ever had if you use this product. You will look back at this picture and yearn for the day you took it.
Try cleaning the brick, if that doesn't work, move. I think this scenario will work out better in the end.

I personally don't think the brick look too bad, but I'm only looking at a very small section of the house, & YOU have to live with it everyday. The recommendation that I could give would be to get the wall wet. If you like the way it looks when it's wet, you could easily use a paver enhancer to bring more color out of the wall.

If you do decide to use some non-conventional brick stain, do youself a favor & get a bid or 2 on what it will cost to remove & replace the brick veneer. This will make you take a serious look at a "brick stain" & it's possible repercussions.

Thanks for all the input, guess i'm going to give it a good old scrub down with the pressure washer and hope it will do something for me.

Tried this before but maybe the new roof will give me a different look on it.
