For starters, I am writing this for my hubby as he is not a computer guru.

Our central air unit is not blowing out cold air. It is very old, but we'd like to try to salvage it for this year at least. Guy said when he bypasses the board, it works. He said the board is no longer available to replace. Hubby wants to tinker with it and see if it is repairable. Any ideas or suggestions as to what on the board he could troubleshoot?:detective:

It's possible with some relays and knowledge but probably not something that could be walked through over the net

Why don't you try to find the replacement board over the internet.
Do you have the mfg., model and serial number of the unit the board is in?
Do you have the part number for the board?
