Ok to use p-trap with swivel/union fitting for bathtub?

I just ordered the bathtub for our basement reno and while at the local HD I saw a few different p-traps. The one in question here is a swivel style with a union joint, as pictured below. Is there any downside to using this style of trap over a completely solid/glued trap? I figured the union would allow more flexibility for installation.

if it will be accessable then yes, if its buried in the floor or in between floors then no.

It will be used in the basement, so not really all that accessible once I install the tub and fill in around the trap with dirt.

As per Danny T no can not be used in application, you'll need a solvent weld trap.

Thanks folks. Off to get a silent week trap and some other goodies for the ongoing project.
