There's no need to put another GFI on the same circuit. You can add a regular receptacle from the load side of the current GFI. There are usually stickers across those terminals...but maybe not. At any rate it will say LOAD next to them.
Using that side (LOAD side) will protect the regular receptacle just like it was a GFI.
