Hi everyone,

I'm new to this site and hoping someone can help me with a painting dilemma.

I'm hand painting wooden Adirondeck chairs in South Florida. I'd like to use oil based, 1 Shot Lettering Enamel, well, for the lettering. This issue is that the chairs have already been been coated with latex paint. Does anyone know if the 1 shot is going to adhere to the latex? Or maybe I need to do some type of primer over the latex first?

Thanks for your help everyone :)

Ayuh,.... I used to work at a sign shop, We always primed with latex primer, then used 1 shot for letterin',.....

The 1 shot will stick to the latex, so long as the latex sticks to the wood,.....
