Can says 12-24 hours at 60 degrees and above but website data sheet says you can pressure test up to 180 psi after 2 hours. Are these statements consistent? If you can put 180 psi on it after 2 hours why must you wait 12-24 hours before putting into service? Thanks.

I generally buy the all purpose PVC/CPVC glue. It states on the can it's ready in 2 hrs. I've read where the CPVC only glue says 12-24 hrs - don't know why ..... but I never questioned it.

Thx Mark. Just wondering why Oatey says one thing on their can but apparently something different on their product spec sheet for the exact same product.
