NY Single Mom

Hi, I am from Queens NY and am a single mother of 2. In January I bought and renovated a home of my own so I am not new to DIY projects just to the site. Most times I can find out what I need from books or talking to others but I liked the idea of a community to turn to for help as well, and then possibly being able to help out others if I know something they don't.
