Hello Guys. Im replacing my power flo circulator pump with a taco pump. Does anyone know the type of nut goes on the inside of the taco pump and holds on to the power supply? Im not sure if I explained it right but hopefully someone knows what im talking about. Thanks

It would normally be a 1/2" conduit locknut. They are available at all the big box stores.

Im back with another question. lol. So i successfully replaced my circulator. I drained about a bucket full of water from the boiler in order to install but Im sure there was more to drain. After installation i opened up all the shut off valves, turned on the boiler, and it started to repressurize from 0 to 25 psi until it reached the set temperature of the thermostat and slowly dropped back down to 12 psi (normal pressure).

My question is that i didnt add water back to the boiler manually (just opened up the valves that where closed), how does the system get back to 12 psi (its normal value)?

Should have an automatic fill valve, that should have been one of the valves you shut to change the circulator.
12 PSI is a hair on the low side for a hot boiler.

Oh ok I see it. Whats a good range to set it to? I live in a 2 story house. How does the low pressure affect the heat?

The law of physics would say you need another 4 psi for a 2 story house. With that, 15 psi would be a reasonable setting.
