My husband recently used a paint stripper on a concrete floor, to attempt to remove what looked like vinyl tile glue, and floor paint. I need to know what I can use to get the stripper up and still be able to put new peel and stick tile down. Please help He has already removed the glue and stuff, I need to know what I can use that will take off the stripper used, and to ensure that the new peel and stick tile will stick.

lowes or home depot have some stuff you can use. I cannot recall name but i used it to remove vinyl glue. Some sort of adhesive remover. (gallon size) in a metal tin. It's thick, burns your eyes and nose be ready. I also got a straight edge scraper with a handle. It's a PITA

Once you do get the stripper removed, make sure to get a bonding primer(sold at Lowes) and paint the floor with it. What was the reason for using the stripper? A razor scraper would have been better for the application.
