Tried to fix a piece of cracked sprinkler pipe... bought a coupling made a new piece to fit in the gap but NOW that I’ve glued one end on the pipe, I don’t have enough freaking play in the pipe to get the other end in the stupid coupling!!!!


FML anyway to fix??

Ayuh,...... Unearth more of the line, to create more slack,.......

That vid is top notch but if you can't repair using it consider a couple of barbed hose fittings, hose clamps and nylon reinforced Gates or Goodyear hose. If that won't work for this repair I suggest a plumber.

Dig out both sides about 4 foot then lift the pipes up so you can glue the last joint.

28 years working as a plumber gives you some experience.
