When I turn on my kitchen faucet, the water barely drips out. I have a spray hose that is separate from the faucet. That still works fine. Essentially I have not water running out of my faucet.

This happened out of nowhere. The faucet was working fine one minute, and then there was no water the next!

Is this something easy to fix or do I need a new faucet?

Check the aerator. if that doesn't fix it, you may have a foreign object clogging the inlet at the cartridge which is only 3/16" in size.

The aerator is that round piece at the bottom of the spout where the water comes out, you will need pliers to remove it, wrap a rag around it first so you don't damage it.

Watch the order and direction of the washers & all if you take the aerator apart to clean. Soaking in vinegar works or just get a new one, they're fairly inexpensive.

This is always my favorite plumbing problem, in the real world and online! So was the aerator the problem?

NOPE!

I managed to remove the aerator and it actually looked pretty clean. Just to check, while the aerator was off, I turned on the faucet and still, all I got was a little drippy water.

I guess the next step is to replace the faucet???
