Thanks for viewing my post. I'm replacing existing under cabinet lights with new ones. The existing ones have plastic cable clamps where the romex comes in. However there is no sheathing on the romex. The new lights come NM cable clamps. They look metal and more abrasive than the plastic NM clamps. The knock outs in the new lights, however have a very small hole, especially for 2 blacks, 2 whites and a ground wire to enter. Any suggestions on how to clamp all those wires in. Should I just use the metal color, NM clamps anyways. Or should I try to find a smaller plastic NM clamp?

Due to the limited space with undercabinet lights it is common to only have one cable in the fixture. Can you post a picture ?

Thanks Jim. I can't upload images on here. However there is one set of cables coming through the first light in the series and two sets of cables in the other three. The metal knockout holes on the fixture housing measures exactly 1/2". I bought 1/2" plastic push-in wire clamps and 1/2" bushings. Neither fit. And the store(s) don't sell a 3/8" here. So, I guess I just have to use the tiny ones that came with the light and strip the romex off so the individual hot, neutral and ground can go through. It's 5 wires through a tiny hole. It'll work, it's just ridiculous. They should have made bigger knockouts and added more space in the housing. Just a little would make all the difference.
