no power-2 switch, 1 light,1 light/fan 1 connect

in the dark. Breaker fine. Separate outlet fine. ?guessing fan pigged to origional light. both dead. Working fine for years. Moisture? 2 bad switches? 1 bad killed the other? Help. Below novice, no cash, haven't taken it apart ..yet. willing to take small zap for light. thanks anything appreciated

Is this a bathroom? Check for a tripped GFCI receptacle.

thks; is a bathroom; clearly rigged ?gfci recept?- is not like outlet w/safety/reset.

Yes, an outlet with the test and reset buttons ion the middle. It could even be in another bathroom and wired to this bathroom.

call me duh; didn't think outlet had any connection to switch (plug worked but not light or fan). did try the reset but not correctly. here's the duh- needed one more push.... THANK YOU FOR HELP AND IMMEDIATE RESPONCE :thumbup:

There is still something wrong there. If the GFCI was tripped the receptacle should have been dead also.
