We are trying to conserve money and do something different in our bathroom. its a very narrow space. 36 width by 15 depth. We are looking for a square or rectangular drop in sink.
Here is the question. We have several 1x3 pieces of oak. We were thinking of using them like a teak shower bench design. So on top you would only see 1" of each piece, from the front you would see 3". We would put glass on top then drop in the sink. What would we need to do to make sure this would be supported? We were also thinking about putting in 1" pieces randomly for a cool design.
We know just enough to be dangerous but we know we want to do this right.
