I'm a late 40's guy from Ontario Canada.
I've been doing renos to my house ever since I've had a house and thoroughly enjoy any type of home improvements. I would consider myself at the low end of advanced and there isn't any job I'll shy away from. I'm not very knowledgeable with electrical work other than changing outlets, switches and installing fixtures.
I just finished a major job redoing our ensuite bathroom and now have talked myself into painting our bedroom, installing laminate and baseboards. Sounds easy enough but the prep work of getting all the furniture out and lifting the carpet is going to be harder than the actual job.
