I have Newater spout faucets in my bathroom. They work OK, but the water is full of air. It looks bad to anyone drinking the water, although the bubbles clear after a while. I would like to fix that.

It is not obvious if it has an aerator. Anyone know if it does, and it if could be the source of the problem?

I agree with you, it may be the aerator causing the issue. Look up the model number of the faucet and look at the exploded view of all the parts to it. If there is a way to remove/clean it (I'm sure there is), that would be addressed in the manual.

As you mentioned, it clears and is safe to drink, just looks milky for awhile. I know what you mean.

Are you on municipal or well water? Are there any whole house water filters or softeners?

Unfortunately, I was given zero documentation. My searching of the 'net has not revealed anything more than some sales sites. I hoped showing a photo might help with that.

BTW, there are no obvious ways to disassemble this thing.

Thanks for the link to the video. That looks very much like my unit. Probably just a rebrand.

I was not aware of the allen screw underneath. I will look for that. It makes sense that something must allow you the service the innards.

BTW, I am on soft city water, not a well. The flow is not the problem- just "over-aeration."
