A family member in New Zealand rents an apartment and they had a toilet leak problem. She sent me a photo of their toilet drain pipe pulled out from underneath the toilet.

What?! That looks like the vent pipe of my portable A/C.

That maybe true in some parts of the world, but it sure as heck doesn’t apply to New Zealand.
