The previous owner of our home installed new Pella windows on the exterrior of the home. The home is a cottage style, so she left the old windows on the interior. These windows are hinge style. My wife and I have been reomving these interior windows. It appears as though the exterior windows are attached to the old framing for the old interior windows. We have detached the interior windows and have removed the hinges on eah side, and further have removed the round cylinder latch holders on the top and bottom. The removel has left indentations where the hardware was removed from. My question is: Absent removing the entire exterior window is there anyway of fixing this in the interior reframing? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
