We bought a 3 bedroom, 3 bath, 2 living, 1 dining(rock), 1 kitchen 60 yr old house couple of years ago made mostly out of cinderblock and rock. We have many questions because the cinderblock and remodeling is throwing us for a loop.

Our kitchen is still stuck in the 50s with the old metal rounded off cabinets. There is a newer addition to the house that is about 20 years old that really was never finished as far as heating/air. Out of all the walls in our house only about 4 are drywall, the rest are (cement, plaster) or (cinderblock, cement, plaster) or (rock, cinderblock).

All the windows are single pane except for the 4 in our bedroom and most are 6 ft wide. In our dining room we have an entire wall of glass blocks and then some more in our master bath with the vents(broken).

yeah, it was move in ready... now that we have been here for 4 years we are starting to make changes to the little qwerks that make us nuts. Like the only 2 prong outlets in a 3 prong world.... nothing fits in the metal cabinets in the kitchen, that sorta stuff...
