I live in phoenix, az. Roof is 4 months old. When the weather gets wet the new plywood under the rolled hot roof oozes sap. the contracter says the plywood will stop eventually when the heat kicks in. right ? / wrong?
or is there something I can do now?

Oozing sap

The color of the sap is a pale yellow, like what comes out of a fresh cut pine tree.
The contractor claims your pretty much at the mercy of the lumber mill as to whether you get fresh cut, or wood thats been around for awhile, thats been dried out.
It does'nt rain much in phoenix, but the few times it has, the puddles of water have a light yellow film on them.

Thanks for answering
appreciate it

sounds like these puddles of water are inside the house? water will be yellowish when it runs over asphalt. Beside plywood is laminated and so is OSB for that matter, that thin peice glued to another thin peice cant contain that much sap.
