I'm in Terre Haute, IN and not home much to get an estimate. Anyone have a ballpark of what it would cost to have a new outlet be dropped on the opposite side of a wall connecting into an existing outlet? I'm wanting to add an outlet outdoors and tap into an outlet that's just on the other side of that wall.

I know I can do it. It's easy but would rather just pay a pro since I'm going inside to out.

Your best bet is to call some recommended local contractors. Labor costs vary too much to get an accurate price on the net.

What circuit are you hoping to tap into? Some circuits are restricted in their usage.

The one I want done the most is a bedroom. Has 4 outlets and a light and that's all on a 15AMP breaker. Eventually want to do more off a few other rooms with the same count of light and outlets. Should be good to just add the one off each breaker with that low count of outlets and a light.
