New In Calgary

Just thought I'd say hi and introduce myself. My name's Sean and my wife and I are just about ready to break ground on our new home build. We gave away our house and it's being moved off the foundation at the end of the month, our existing foundation was inspected and we were given the go ahead to use it again.

We're adding a 16'x28' extension off the rear and going up two stories. We plan to use Sips for all exterior walls and spray foam throughout the trusses, joist ends, and cantelevers as well as the basement walls. Windows are all triple pane low-e, and the house will be heated by hydronic in-floor heating.

We want an old Craftsman style house that is very efficient. I have a lot of questions as I go as well as a family of trades ready to help.
