From reading posts, it appears that the most significant part of results, when I install central HVAC, is the choice of the installer. While I have many other questions, the key is: does anyone have a good experience with an HVAC contractor who works in center city Philadelphia?
I am against the wall on time because it is a rental house. I have had 8 contractors come to the house, all but one say I should keep the R-22 refrigerant. Does that mean I would get different equipment than with R-410?
None of them have done any of the things that I have read in a quality installation checklist to analyze what is needed. I am desperate.
Answers would be deeply appreciated, and relevant questions that I should ask, too.
