So we are in the middle of buying a pretty awesome house. I've only got a few pictures, from the listing. I saw it alone with my 3 kiddos in tow, so I didn't really have a spare second to snap any extra photos. Will deffinitely post photos of any of the projects I do complete. :wink2:
Here is the current living room:
We will paint the walls light gray. Also repaint the fireplace as well as the red brick in front of the fireplace, glossy white. All trim work and baseboards will be painted white as well. I'm still undecided about whether I'll paint the brown shelves white also, or remove them and do the wall around the fireplace like this:
On a side note... How would I attach all those boards securely to the drywall? I've only done minor DIY projects in the past. Not familiar with how to hang anything more complicated than a TV mount.

I'd like new cabinets and countertops at some poin t in the next few years. So I won't be fussing with that. Our top priority in that room is to have a sliding door put in where the big window is. We'll also add a deck right outside of said door.
We'll also paint the hallway and all 3 bedrooms.
Will post pics as it comes along! Oh we also have the inspection tomorrow. I'll see if I can't snap a few pics then!
