Hi,

New home basement floor and I want to "cover" it. What do I use? Wife hates carpet. Rooms will be bedrooms, bathroom, safe room, family room, utilities room, and storage area. This floor has not been treated with anything and I really don't where to begin. Ideas are welcome.

Thanks Danny T

The only covering type out of the question is carpet. Every think is being considered. As to wood, I don't what types would be qualified for a basement application... I've been told to consider a Bamboo type.

Do you think the concrete would have to be treated in preparation for a floor covering?
