Hello, I am upgrading old backyard flood lights. Some of the ones (that have been there about 30yrs) have a rectangular shaped common electrical box. The flood light requires a circle one. Can I just replace the rectangular box with a circle one? Its outside the house in the leave.
Also, do they have double thick electrical boxes where I could replace that and then add an exterior light without having to cut through some wood siding. (It was cut out originally but I'd like to replace with a different shape light.
