No such thing as a typical washer. That means different things to different people.

Post your make and model number.

How far is it to the drain you want to reach and what is its elevation in respect to the garage floor ?

All the washer has to do is pump the water to a down hill drain line to the septic tank.
So little info supplied no ones going to do anything but ask questions.

Id like to move the washer about 12 ft from its current location to the garage. Theres a 6 inch differential inhe garage floor vs the rest of the house. It's a samsung but i dont know the model. Ill look that up first in the morning.

If you are asking if the washer can pump the drain water through a 12 foot hose to the current standpipe from its new location , I would seriously doubt it. Even if it could it might cause a lot oif head pressure in the pump resulting in incomplete draining and premature pump failure .

Hard pipe the drain line with the proper slope. Same as in the house.
