Hi
I'm new to the forum and have reached out to the community seeking guidance on a washroom project which I've undertaken and messed up.
I've built walls in the basement for my washroom project where I did not considering the distant between the toilet rough-in and the wall. The distant of the pipe to the wall is approx 8". The rough-in was installed by the builder when I bought the house 13 years ago.
I though of working around the problem by installing an offset closet flange which one of the attached picture shows the distant of about 10" from the wall. However, in order for me to install the flange, I will need to cut around the drain pipe ... about 4" deep around the concrete.
I figured if I am going to rent a jack hammer and break into the concrete, I might as well look into moving the pipes. When I broke into the concrete, I discovered there is little I can do to move the pipes as there is another pipe that tee'ed into the main pipe. Here are some pictures I've captured hoping you can offer some guidance on how I can tackle this piping challenge.
Thanks in advance for any and all assistance.
Ron
