My kids' closet switch is outside the closet, but I'd like to make it a vacancy
I would like to keep the switch on the outside but have vacancy features. Is there a split switch or such that has the power outside the room but the sensor on the other side of the wall.
I found this but don't like the battery design. Then again it has a 10-yr advertised life span, and we are talking about a vacancy switch on a closet.
