guys i have a multi-meter and need to identify sprinkler wires in the field and match them to wires at the clock.


since i cannot connect both ends i cant check continuity right ?


any ideas ?

Connect them at random to your controller. Then run each zone and you will have identified which wire is connected to which zone. Then, if you want, you can move the connections on the controller. For example you might want zone 1 to be the soutwest corner of the front yard, and then the zones going clockwise when viewed from above.
