We had a new Blue Angel pump put in, only to have it fail one month later. This pump comes with a 7 year warranty. My plumber (Plumber 1) stands behind the product and blames the failure on some kind of fibrous material being wrapped around the switch. Another plumber (Plumber 2) whom I trust said, Blue Angels are know for bad switches and that I should have Plumber 1 replace the pump with a Liberty or Zoeller.

Does anyone have any experience with these pumps? Is the Blue Angel pump a bad pump? Is it worth swapping this pump?

Don't know much about Blue Angel. A lot of plumbers that I know use mostly Liberty and Little Giant.
