I'm looking at a York AC unit with matching coil, and I was wondering if anyone could run the model or serial number and tell me what size, year, and seer rating it is. The Model # is H1DA024S06A (although the zeros may be diamonds and not actually part of the number) and the Serial # is EADM003790. Any help would be appreciated!

Usually 024 is 24,000 BTU = 2 ton. Serial # could be a 2000/2003 or 1990 unit. Probably a 2000/2003 which would be 8 or 10 SEER. Open the electrical box and see if there is a date code on the contactor or capacitor. Ie:3790 = 37th week of 1990, 2008 = 20th week of 2008 FYI.

I can find no listing for that exact OD unit in AHRI directory, but based on the 024 I would likewise assume about 24K BTU, or a little less. To know the exact specs you will have to contact Unitary Products (York's parent) and give them both this information and your evap coil model and serial. From that they should be able to give you the exact BTU, EER and SEER numbers.

Since its a H1DA, its probably a 1995 unit.

2 tons, and should be a 10SEER.

The DA series is a 50 hertz series.
The electric code at the end is for a 60 hertz, but the DA's were made for 50hertz.
