Need confirmation and or advice

Hello,

New home build and master shower leaking/running/dripping for around 2 minutes after turning off the shower.

Pex plumbing throughout the house and no toe tester but does have a handheld shower handle.

It was explained to me that this is normal as reserve water needs to go somewhere and because there is no toe tester it comes out of the shower head.

Had similar setup in old home but had copper pipes and I didn't experience this.

Any ideas?
Thx.

Thanks Stick/shift..

SPS-1 described my situation perfectly. It is not a leak and apologies for the miscommunication.

As for what SPS-1 has described yes I can turn a blind eye and not worry about it but is this normal or is something installed incorrectly?

Thanks to all.
The pipe at the top is full of water and it takes a little time for the air to get in and release it. there is no vent to allow air behind that water.
Thanks Nealtw.....
