I recently renovated my kitchen - complete gut job down to the floor rafters and joists.

So the question comes down to the floor molding. Should I try to match the molding in the rest of the house and go with oak around everything or should I try to match the color of the cabinets, or should I go with white molding?

When we install cabinets the toe kick (base cabinet molding) is the same color of the cabinets. The floor molding is a personal preference. It's hard to tell by the picture, but I would recommend trying a sample piece of the molding that's in the rest of the house to see if you like it.
