Hey everyone! I'm glad I found this site... It looks like there is a wealth of knowledge here.
My wife and I are working on building a hair salon in what was the laundry room of our home. I've moved the clothes washer and dryer to a new location and am planning to put her station with shampoo bowl and counter top along the wall where the washer once was.
My question is: I need to move the washer plumbing and change it so it will work for the shampoo bowl. My trouble is that the shampoo bowl is going to be about 2 feet farther left than where the water and drain pipes currently exist in the wall. Can I simply lower the water and drain stubs and run the drain laterally to where the pipes are now, or do I need to replumb the water and drain directly behind where the shampoo sink will be?
Hopefully my description makes sense... Thanks in advance!
