I have been searching for a free copy of the current NEC book to conduct research but keep hit dead end. Does anyone know of a source? Thanks in advance.
All the versions of the NEC code are available free online. The catch is that they are readable, but not searchable or printable. You have to register for a free account to access it.
Many states include the NEC directly in their laws or online regulations. You can often find it that way. There used to be a page on Wikipedia with links to such but the NFPA put pressure to remove the page. However, they are still out there.
