GENERAL FASTENING REQUIREMENTS

Fasteners must be corrosion resistant, galvanized, or stainless steel.
Electro-galvanized are acceptable but may exhibit premature corrosion.
James Hardie recommends the use of quality, hot-dipped galvanized
nails. James Hardie is not responsible for the corrosion resistance of
fasteners. Stainless steel fasteners are recommended when installing
James Hardie® products near the ocean, large bodies of water, or in
very humid climates.

I don't understand why you are having a hard time finding Stainless siding nails?

Are you looking for "loose" nails or Nails for a pneumatic siding gun?

One of our current jobs is installing a complete strip off and installation of Hardie-board. We have Stainless Steel coils for our Bostitch N66C siding coil nailers, and also some loose ring shank stainless nails that we purchased from H.D.
Are either of those what you have been looking for?

As mentioned by Cole, the other alternative is Hot Dipped Galv. (Stay away form using Electo-galv as they tend to bleed and stain in a short amount of time)

I'm just trying to find loose nails,no nailer. My local home said they are not stocking them anymore.I'll keep looking. I'd prefer to use them since we get alot of precipitation and humidity here. Thanks.

True hot dipped would be next, but that would resign you to hand nailing, as true hot dipped are too rough to be collated for nail guns. As Atlantic suggested, most contractor suppliers , and some big box locations, carry a selection of often used nails. They are also available online or catalogue, check out Manasquin Fasteners just for one. Of course be prepared for sticker shock compared to typical "galvanized" gun nails.
