Just had new roof put on yesterday. Today, noticed the end shingle on the small roof above my front door has a nail popping out already and the shingle is lifting. Is this rare? Do I need to be concerned about the rest of the roof?

The nail is too close to the edge and didn't connect with any wood. It went through shinles and flashing.
A new deeper cap shingle should be put on so the nail hits sheathing.
Is this indicative of the work on the rest of the roof. I would hope not, but I can't tell from one picture. It could simply be the poor judgement of one guy at the end of a long day.
