Pictures are worth a thousand words they say. These are pics of my laundry room. Subfloor rotted and the tops of the floor joists. I will try to keep taking pics as I progress.

Well maybe I will when I figure out how to get them to display.

Here are a couple update pics. In the first you can see the sistered joists. If you see the single joist it is because the old one was not worth saving.

First layer down with felt paper for moisture barrier and part of the second layer of subfloor.

Ok, it is pretty much finished now. I got put the electrical covers back on and move the washer and dryer back in but for the most part done.

Here I have the wall board up.

Here I have vinyl down.

Here is it with all the trim done.

Looks good.. Amazing what you can find beneath the floor, isn't it? I'm sure it feels better, knowing that it's solid now.
