why is my push mower cutting off after running for 10 minutes

Everytime i cut grass my push mower cut off after running for 10 minutes ,why is this happening ?

Does it cut out suddenly, or seem like it's stalling out?

Could be a bad gas cap vent--try running w/ the cap put on very loosely... if it stops happening, by a new cap

Could be a loose wire that only making contact after what seems like ~10 mins, but sounds unlikely.

My vote is a fuel issue.

dirty air filter, condensor, sparkplug, coil. i would start with the plug and clean the filter. plugs will break down as they get hot. probably 9 out of 10 times small enging problems can be traced to the sparkplug.

drop the float canister and check that bolt you have just removed there is a little hole in it(on the threads) that the gas goes up into the engine piece of grass might be in it should be able to blow thru it
