So I decided to install a Reliance transfer switch and a remote inlet to use with my generator. I got it all done, and now it's time to get it inspected. This is the first time I'm having an inspection done on work I've done myself, so I'm not sure what to expect. I think I should be OK, but I figured I'd share some photos here in case there is something obvious I missed.

I followed manufacturer's instructions along with some advice I picked up here on the forum. I ran about 50ft of 10-3 romex between the transfer switch and the inlet box.

So what do you guys think?

There are no changes to any breakers in the panel, so there are no unused open spaces once the cover is back on.

The Romex only runs in conduit up the wall in the garage and up the wall in the basement in order to protect the wire. I checked that on the forum here before I did it, and it sounded like that would be OK.

janvi: what??

What's Greenfield?
FMC (Flexible Metal Conduit for our amatures). The conductors have to be installed in the raceway. They do not come pre-installed.

I know that and you know that...Some inspectors don't. That is why I said he "might"
I don't think your giving inspectors enough credit for the application we are looking at in this thread. This is simply a protective sleeve. One could try to argue that sch. 40 is not listed for this particular application as it doesn't meet physical protection specifications by the NEC. I would have used EMT but based on what I see I'd expect a pass on the install of sch.40. The flex probably needs a fastening clamp but the distance is pretty short between the panel and MTS.

Most of the issues of NM in conduit are talking about complete conduit runs and I really don't think you would find very many inspectors that would not allow it in a protective sleeve. It would all depend on the requirement for physical protection as to what conduit/raceway would be required.
